SLIDING OUR WAY IN.

Lots of stuff going on here at HMG HQ. We will be working on some projects with FABRICATED MOTORSPORTS headed by Aaron Losey who has represented the Drift Scene here in Texas very well. Involved with Formula D, Nopi and now D1 underground, there will be lots of exposure for Drifting in Texas. As Texas folks say "Everything is big in Texas." Here are some vids of Aaron himself and the FM crew doing it big.

M.K. DAVIS REVIEW.

We headed to M.K. Davis to get some HomeMade Goodness from one of San Antonio's finest vintage delicacies. The very popular MKD has been mentioned several times by locals for being a down to earth home style cooking restaurant. So we decided to put this place to the test... Enjoy the succulent frames of local goodness. A+

Discussions of the latest trends sneakers and even Ghosts haha I dont how that came about but we left the restaurant tripped out. The choice of food was Japanese, Sushi rolls, Sashimi, Kastu, and Ramen fill our bellies! If you ever have a chance to hit up GOROS do it, very authentic for being in TX.

The Slimlow on Snacking!

The hot days of summer causes many to consider ways in which to shape up and slim down. Being an advocate for good tasting food, it can be tough to skip and pass on certain favorites. In reading up for myself, I found the best advice is to keep intake at a controlled level and to watch your fat and calorie intake. Also, it is essential to exercise regularly. Eating more frequently throughout the day is known to boost metabolism. However, not all snacks are created equal! Check out this list I got from dietbites.com. These are snack foods known to help your metabolism...

"Hot air popped popcorn, fresh fruit, raw vegetables, sugar free gelatin, low fat yogurt, an ounce of cheese, peanut butter on crackers (watch the amount of peanut butter that you smear on your crackers), dried fruit, jerky, bullion, low fat soup, small salad with light dressing, fruit rolls, slice of toast with no calorie butter spray, a dash of cinnamon and a spoon or two of Splenda, fruit juice, a glass of skimmed milk whirled with 3 frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese."

Here's to your good efforts!

KERO ONE.

Peep another artist with a different style (I know, not another one). Kero One is a Korean-American fellow hailing from San Francisco, who happened to be a web developer by day, and beat producer/rhyme sayer by night. He put his nose to the grindstone and did his own marketing, networking, and cold calling to get his name out. But it all started when a tiny record shop in Tokyo decided to carry his debut album. Boom. Now he's got collab projects Talib Kweli among other folks. Kero's style is jazzy smooth, intellectual, hypnotic storytelling with real-life positive substance behind it. Listen to his work on his IMEEM profile.

FATLACE.

We always like to share lifestyle and FATLACE is definitely an example of todays modern culture. From fashion to motor-sports, FATLACE has created and empire that grounded San Francisco's street culture. Mark Arcenal, Creative Director of the FATLACE team has done a very good job of living out the very culture we follow. So to all those who follow HMG, pass by FATLACE when in SAN FRANCISCO or visit the site and educate your self.

Here is a video created by Al Lagura from the FATLACE crew
on Karting. Enjoy the video and watch it in HD.

DID WE SAY WE LIKE TO EAT?

We eat here occasionally its Royal Inn on Babcock Rd. You can eat lunch there, but that would just be typical American-Chinese style, which is not my type of taste at all. If you go there for dinner you can order the real deal, go and try it out. Ask for steamed halibut and chinese broccoli with oyster sauce and maybe a Roast duck. Enjoy!

TO THE BORDER.

You should know by now we love to eat! One of our favorite spots is Los Robertos off bitters and 281, Its one of the only 24hr taco shops here in SA. The baja cali style mexican food is a transplant from our very own streets of San Diego. So, if you are ever in the mood for some SOCAL mexican food this is the place.

Hot carrots, jalapenos and lime to cater those taste buds with a kick.
