StreetWEAR Fighter IV. 02/17/09

Hyped release dates are usually played out, and rarely worth waiting 10+ years for...except for SF4. Looks like they kept it old school with a 2.5D twist. We don't game like WOW folks, but this one's gonna get some serious couch time! As usual, Japanese brethren have been way ahead of the game...not only have they been playing this for months, they've had a few SF4 tournaments already.

SIDEWAYS.

The Japanese have always had the upper hand when it comes to the skillful art of Drifting. Not to be misunderstood, but the U.S. has grown tremendously through out the years from the first time Drifting was introduced here in the United States. From Vaughn Gittin Jr. to Ken Gushi the U.S. has displayed amazing skill. Here are a couple of vids we picked out for your viewing pleasure.

NIKETALK+JAYMATIK

HMG was spotlighted on JAYMATIK from NIKETALK thank you for showing us love and support.

JAYMATIK
Niketalk member since its inception. JAYMATIK isn't your typical shoe collector. He has unreleased Nike shoes that are one of a kind because they were scheduled to be scrapped by Nike Kitchen. Although there is no official count of how many pairs he owns, it has been rumored he has over 600 pairs. His favorite models are the Nike Dunk and Nike Air Max 1.

PACMAN

Pacquiao called De La Hoya his idol and said he was honored to have had the opportunity to face him. But he didn’t spare his idol any pain, working his plan like a hired gun.

“It was nothing personal,” Pacquiao said. “I just came to do my job.”

THROUGH THE LENS OF M.KNIGHT

One of the best shooters out of San Antonio,TX peep through the lens of an artist.

(The words of Matthew Knight)

There are so many places I get inspiration. My photography comes from following lines to find shape to arrive at composition. I mean, that like many other artists, I find inspiration in many places, from the lines of a shoe to the emptiness of urban landscapes. While I do shoot digitally, I think that patience plays a huge role in my work. Waiting for the elements to come together for a good composition is key! Pressing the shutter to make the image is the last thing I do... watching and waiting come first. I first started shooting in the 5th grade. My parents got me a disc camera.... long been discontinued, but fun while I had it. From there I shot off and on until 10th grade where I began to take it more seriously. It wasn't till I was out of high school and my mother passed away that I decided I wanted to study Art, photography in particular.
As far as the galleries, have really not shown that much. A few group shows while I was in school in Italy, Afront in Houston,TX,and at Goodtimes skateshop in San Antonio, TX

DA KINE DATS GOOD.

If you don't know yet, we love to eat. So here is one of our favorite dishes. We got together and did a HOMEMADE version of the Loco Moco. Peep the madness.

The Loco Moco is a dish unique to Hawaiian cuisine. There are many variations, but the essential loco moco consists of white rice topped with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and brown gravy. Variations may include bacon, ham, Spam, kalua pork, Portuguese sausage, teriyaki beef, teriyaki chicken, mahi-mahi, shrimp, oysters, and other meats.
