I joined 10 men on a brief missionary trip down to Durango, Mexico. It was overwhelming on every sensory level, even to the heart. We had no idea what to expect, since none of us have ever been here. We heard the stories of the Mexican drug cartels, the gun fights, and how the main trafficking routes run through Durango because of it's central location in Mexico. None of that mattered, we were safe the entire time. All we wanted to do was share the love of Jesus with those less fortunate. In the end, we were the ones who were blessed. What a great way to put things in perspective...
